Ashland's outdoor rink under a tent in Lithia Park
The Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink is an outdoor rink in Lithia Park, at the corner of Winburn Way and Nutley Street. The City re-opens it in mid-November for the 2026-27 season, with Opening Day on November 20. A snow load kit was installed on the rink's cover in July 2026 and the hard surface improvements were finished in August, before work moved on to the electrical systems.
The City offers school field trips, skating lessons, hockey and All In! Adapted Skating, and has partnered with the Southern Oregon Figure Skating Club to bring a formal Learn to Skate curriculum to the ice this season.
Fridays from December 4 are All In! skates for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, and an All In! community event follows on December 18. The First Frost Community Skate offers a family-friendly night with a figure skating performance and hot cocoa.
