## Visitor facts

### Booking & check-in

The City says that when open the harbour rink is open around the clock, closed only for morning maintenance or if unsafe, and is for public skating only (no hockey).

### Skating with children

The City of Brockville says its staff check the harbour rink ice each day for safety and close and lock the gates if the area is not safe for skating. Docks left in the harbour provide a space to tie your skates, and the skating area is a kidney-shaped loop.

## Notices

- The City of Brockville's recreation page says that once the municipal harbour freezes over in January or February, City staff prepare the surface as a rink for recreational skaters; it is a natural-ice harbour rink, so no earlier opening is posted.
