What this place is
A Chicago-area hockey store; Jerry’s Hockey was established in 1975 and has three free-standing stores and a pro shop inside an ice arena.
Jerry’s Hockey Schaumburg
Jerry’s Schaumburg store is in a low brick industrial building off Morse Avenue; the door is the small one beside the big CCM-wrapped garage door, under a blue awning marked Entrance. Elk Grove Ice Arena is about two miles away and the Triphahn Center rink in Hoffman Estates about four.
Jerry’s has served Chicago-area hockey players since 1975, and this store sits beside the company’s mail-in workshop. The company calls itself a ProSharp authorized service center, so if you already skate on a ProSharp cut, say so when you hand your skates over.
The same building is where Jerry’s mail-in sharpening service works, so skates posted from farther away end up here. Pure Hockey also has a Schaumburg store a few miles north-west if you want to compare stock on a big purchase.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Skates for sale
Hockey equipment: Jerry’s store range covers skates, sticks, helmets, protective gear, base layers, goalie gear and accessories.
