Pure Hockey’s New Albany store, opened in July 2025 as the chain’s third store in Ohio.
Pure Hockey New Albany
Pure Hockey opened its New Albany store in July 2025, its third in Ohio, in a new brick building on the north-east edge of the metro. It is the hockey shop nearest the east side’s rink: Chiller Easton is about four miles away, and the Easton Youth Hockey Association and the high school teams that skate there are its closest regulars.
The store is listed as a no-goalie location, so it suits skaters shopping for player gear rather than pads and masks. Skates can be left at its service center, and the chain says it texts you when a pair is ready, which spares a wait in the shop on a busy weekend.
Goalies on the east side are better served by the Sawmill Place store across town, and a player who wants profiling should ask whether this store offers it before leaving skates.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Skates for sale
Hockey equipment from skates and sticks to protective gear, training and apparel. No goalie gear at this store.
Repairs
