What this place is
A DICK'S Sporting Goods store whose page lists skate services.
DICK'S Sporting Goods Allen
DICK’S Sporting Goods at The Village at Allen is a large general sporting goods store, not a hockey shop. The chain says its store services vary by location, and of the Dallas-area DICK’S stores this is one of two whose page lists skate services; the other is in Prosper.
A family buying a first pair of skates gets the most out of it, since the new pair can be looked after at the store where it was bought. Allen Community Ice Rink is less than half a mile away, so a new pair can go from the box to the ice the same afternoon.
Skaters bringing a pair bought somewhere else should call the store first. MonkeySports’ Allen superstore, a few miles south-west, is the nearest hockey specialist.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Fitting & heat molding
Fitting adjustments, free with a skate bought at the store.
