What this place is
Pure Hockey’s Plano store, an expanded goalie location of the hockey chain.
Pure Hockey Plano
Pure Hockey’s Plano store is on Preston Road in north Plano, about a mile from Comerica Center in Frisco and a few miles from the Children’s Health StarCenters in Plano and McKinney. It is one of the hockey chain’s two stores in the Dallas area, and the one its store page marks as an expanded goalie location, so goalies from across the north suburbs get the wider choice of pads, gloves and masks to try on.
A pair left at the service center does not tie you to the shop: the chain says it texts you when the skates are ready, so you can go on to the rink or an errand meanwhile.
Goalies should mention goalie steel at the counter, and everyone should give the staff their usual hollow. The chain’s other Dallas-area store is in Southlake, on the Fort Worth side of the metro.
Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
Skates for sale
Hockey equipment, with an expanded range of goalie gear.
Repairs
Skates fixed at the store’s service center.
