What this place is
Pure Hockey’s Bloomfield Hills store; its page carries the April 2026 announcement that Pure Hockey bought Perani’s Hockey World.

Pure Hockey’s Bloomfield Hills store, on South Telegraph Road, is one of the Perani’s Hockey World stores the chain bought in April 2026, as its store page announces. It sits half a mile from the Detroit Skating Club, so it is the hockey counterpart to the club’s figure skating shops just down the road.
This was a Perani’s store until the sale, and Pure Hockey says the staff stayed on while the chain’s skate services were added. The DICK’S at Bloomfield Town Square is just up Telegraph Road, and Birmingham Ice Sports Arena, which also sharpens skates, is about seven miles south-east.
A pair can be dropped off before a session at the club and collected afterwards, since the chain says it texts you when skates are ready.
Sharpens: profiling / contouring. Not stated: hockey, goalie, figure, speed / long-track, recreational & rental.
