Asiago's ice palace, built in record time in 1977 and crowned with a laminated-timber roof in 1986
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The Pala Hodegart is the ice palace of Asiago, and the stadium is regarded as one of the best-known symbols of the Seven Communes plateau. Its 30 by 60 metre artificial rink was built in record time in 1977.
Nine years later came the first major change in its history, a roof of laminated timber. In 1998 work finished on fully enclosing the stadium and its entrance building, and in the summer of 2003 the rink got new boards and a dehumidification plant.
Today the stadium seats 2,200 of its 3,000 places and has a bar that stays open for the whole ice season, usually from June to April. Besides ice hockey it hosts figure skating, speed skating and short track competitions, and the administration of Asiago Hockey has its seat inside.
