Björknäshallen, Boden's 1965 ice hall

Hive Arena, formerly Björknäshallen, is an ice hall in Björknäs in Boden that opened in 1965. It took its present name after a sponsorship deal with a cryptocurrency company in autumn 2022.

The hall has two gently curved, 66-metre grandstands with 17 steps each. It originally had room for a nominal 5,000 spectators, 228 of them seated; today it holds 4,000, about 1,000 seated. Big arches carry the roof along the length of the rink, which gives it great height and a roomy feel.

The attendance record is 5,111, set in autumn 1969 when Bodens BK beat the old rival IFK Luleå 8-5 in a derby; since the rebuild with more seats the record is 4,500. Since autumn 2017 a 5 by 3 metre event screen has hung at one end.
