Mass skating with lights and music in a state-run sports ice complex
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The Orion sports ice complex in Bologoye, Tver Oblast, was built under the region's investment programme and opened on 29 December 2014. It is run by a Tver Oblast state sports institution.
The ice sheet is artificial and measures 56 by 26 metres, so the arena can host regional competitions in ice hockey, bandy and figure skating. The stands seat 294 spectators, with some seats set aside for visitors with disabilities. The building also has choreography and strength-training halls and changing rooms with showers and toilets, and it has a cafe.
Hockey and figure-skating sections of the Bologoye sports school train here, and children's sports teams from other regions hold training camps at the complex. In the evenings the rink holds mass skating with lights and music, and the week's sessions are posted on its schedule page.
