Bressanone's municipal ice hall went into operation in 1985. It is the training ground of the town's ice sports clubs, the HC Falcons for ice hockey and the WSV Brixen for figure skating and ice stock sport. The hall's capacity is given as 2,500.
Visiting teams have trained here. The Italian national team, the KHL team HC Vityaz and Germany's Schwenninger Wild Wings have all held training camps in the hall, and several Austrian and German teams come every year for short October and November camps before their championships. It has also hosted the Terza prova Triveneta figure skating competition, international ice stock tournaments and international youth hockey tournaments.
The Falcons were founded on 15 May 1987 as Hockey Club Fana Ghiaccio and soon became Hockey Club Bressanone. In March 2013 six former local players took over the club, and the new name arrived two months later. After two seasons in Austria's Tyrolean league the club won Italy's third tier in 2018 against ValpEagle and joined the Italian Hockey League.
