Daejeon's gymnasium rink at Namseon Park

Namseon Park Gymnasium in Tanbang-dong, Seo District, is a comprehensive sports hall with one basement floor and three floors above ground, and its ice rink fills the ground floor. The rink measures 60 by 30 metres, the international size, and the stands hold 629 spectators.

Speed skating, figure skating, ice hockey and curling are all played on the ice. On the same floor are a rental room for skates and helmets that also sharpens blades, a shop selling skating gear and a swimming hall with a wave pool.

The gymnasium describes itself as a comprehensive sports hall with a gym, a golf area and a futsal court as well as the rink. It closes on the fourth Sunday of each month.

A two-hour public ticket costs ₩9,000 for adults, ₩8,500 for young people and ₩7,800 for children, made up of the entry fee, skate hire of ₩3,000 and ₩2,000 for a helmet and pads; an all-day ticket costs ₩14,000, ₩13,000 or ₩12,000.
