The Delnice rink is a multifunctional hall for sport and tourism that becomes a skating arena in the winter months and is covered with a sports floor for the rest of the year. The hall was built in 2008, is roofed but half open, and has a 60 by 30 metre ice surface and 234 seats.
The operator, Goranski sportski centar, also uses the hall for cultural and tourist events, promotions, fairs and concerts, and it has two climbing walls. Delnice stands 730 metres above sea level and is described as the highest town in Croatia.
Last season, which ran from 6 December to 28 February, the rink hosted kindergarten and school groups, children's birthday parties, a skating school and a small hockey school, and it opened with a free show by a Zagreb skating club.
