Helena, Elbląg's covered full-size rink, opened its 2026/27 season with a free inaugural session
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Lodowisko Helena (MOSiR Elbląg)…
Kryte Lodowisko Helena was opened in 2005 and has a full-size ice sheet of 60 by 30 metres, with a stand for 600 seated spectators. It runs in the autumn-winter season, from October to March, and besides public sessions it hosts training for figure skaters and hockey players, as well as competitions and events of every kind.
The 2026/27 season began with a celebration. MOSiR Elbląg opened the ice on Sunday 4 October with a free inaugural session: the president of Elbląg decided that the opening skate would cost nothing, and for 90 minutes there was music, light effects and extra attractions, with a DJ and competitions.
Skating lessons are led by coaches who train figure skaters at the UKS Szóstka Elbląg club, and during lessons part of the ice stays open to the public.
