A 500 square metre real-ice rink, the only fixed one in Alicante province, run by Club Deportivo Squash
Pista de Hielo Elche is the only permanent ice rink in the province of Alicante, with 500 square metres of real ice. It is on Calle Mallorca in the Altabix area of Elche, and the Club Deportivo Squash is the entity that manages it.
In December 2023 Elche's council signed an agreement with the club that created a Municipal Ice Skating School for children and young people aged 3 to 17. Its classes suit every level and run through the school year, and beginners can join at any point in the season. Learners can also join the Club de Patinaje Artístico Dama de Elche, directed by Jana Pribylova.
Schools and groups use the rink during public sessions or with the ice to themselves, and the agreement with the council gives groups from Elche special rates. Hockey matches can be organised on the real ice, and birthday parties are held during public skating sessions.

Standard entry for ages 13 and over is 16,00 €, children aged 6 to 12 pay 13,00 € and children up to 5 pay 8,00 €. University students with accreditation, or anyone using their own skates, pay 14,00 €, and Club Deportivo Squash members pay 5,00 €.
