Hala Polárka is a multi-purpose hall in Frýdek-Místek, part of a complex built in 2014 that replaced the old multi-purpose sports hall. That predecessor was built between 1971 and 1985 in a brutalist style and had room for more than 6,000 people.
Work on Polárka began in 2013, while the old hall was already being demolished, and HC Frýdek-Místek played the first match in the new arena on 21 December 2014. The hall is the club's home arena.
The two opposite stands, with their sky boxes, seat 2,060 and leave room for another 396 standing, and three VIP boxes hold 21 people. The main ice surface measures 58.75 by 28.5 metres; it is melted for the summer, when the floor serves for markets and similar events.
