The Eissporthalle Herrischried was built about 40 years ago in the municipality's leisure centre beside the ski lifts, according to the Gemeinde's own welcome message. The Hallenbad is integrated into the ice hall, and the hall has five changing rooms.
In the pre-season the hall is offered to ice hockey clubs for training camps, and public skating opens at the end of October. The hall hires out more than 600 pairs of skates, and visitors can ask at the desk to ride along on the ice-resurfacing machine.
The EHC Herrischried White Stags play their home games in the hall, and anyone can play hockey on a fenced-off area at set times. The Saturday Eis-Disco has a "Nacht der Wölfe" edition in January.
