A prefectural 30 by 60 m rink in Kose Sports Park, open from 1 July to 31 March
Kose Sports Park Ice Arena opened in September 2000 in the Kose Sports Park in Kofu and was a venue of the winter national sports festival. Its season runs from 1 July to 31 March, so it describes itself as a rink where people can skate from the summer, and it stays open over the New Year.
The rink measures 30 by 60 metres and is set up for figure skating, ice hockey, short track and curling. The stands hold 672 fixed seats and 202 standing places.
Public skating is posted a month at a time and follows club bookings: some Saturdays and several other days a month the ice is not open to the public. High school students and younger skate free on Saturdays that are open.
