A neon-lit 2,000 square metre sheet beside Shuliavska metro
Fifty Ice Arena sits on the first floor of Block A of the Cosmo Multimall at Vadyma Hetmana Street 6, a minute from Shuliavska metro. On its own about page the rink calls itself the best ice arena in Kyiv.
The sheet covers 2,000 square metres and takes more than 240 skaters at once on ice kept by modern refrigeration. Evening sessions are turned into a neon-light show, small children get penguin and bear helpers on the ice, and the Cosmo cafe next to the rink serves between sessions.
Ten sessions run every day without a day off, and individual lessons last 45 minutes. The rink's site also has a page on how it works during air-raid alerts, so check it before you set out.
