Kyzylorda's only covered rink, a sports complex with ice

Muz Aidyny in Kyzylorda describes itself as the only covered ice rink in the city. The sports complex holds a rink with artificial ice for hockey, figure skating and short track as well as mass skating, a hall for volleyball and basketball, and a hall for martial arts, rhythmic gymnastics and choreography. It is run by a state enterprise of the Kyzylorda region's department of physical culture, sport and tourism, and its sections include basketball, figure skating, volleyball, ice hockey, rhythmic gymnastics, short track and MMA.

The rink's FAQ says the ice is used for figure skating, short track and hockey training during the day, and that two instructors keep order on the ice during mass skating. The complex stands in the city centre at Demesinov Street 57, reached by buses 1 and 5, minibuses 102 and 115 and tram 3.

In late September 2026 the rink announced a new mass skating timetable from the start of October.
