Zimní stadion Mladá Boleslav opened in November 1956 and has had a roof over its ice since 1973. In 1959 it hosted part of the ice hockey world championship programme, and BK Mladá Boleslav plays its extraliga home games here.
The complex is two halls. The main hall, called ŠKO-ENERGO aréna, was rebuilt in 2007 and 2008 and holds about 4,200 spectators, 2,200 of them seated; its ice measures 60 by 30 metres. The smaller training hall, 56 by 26 metres, is simply equipped, unheated and has no seating, and the junior extraliga plays some of its matches there.
The complex also has a gym used for martial arts, basketball, floorball, gymnastics and table tennis. When the ice is out, the playing surfaces serve the public for in-line skating.
