A 1,800 m² ice rink under a tent roof in the Montafon

From mid-October to early March, the large tent hall of the Aktivpark Montafon turns into an ice surface of 1,800 square metres. The roofed Kunsteisbahn has long combined public skating, ice-stock shooting, hockey games and the Eis-Disco: a report from December 2010 already describes all four running there since October.

The local club EHC Eurojobs Montafon regularly plays its home games here. Its Eislaufschule brings children from all primary schools and kindergartens in the Montafon onto the ice between October and December, and around 630 children take part every year.

The Eisdisco takes place under the roof on a handful of dated evenings each winter, and the covered rink is also offered for company and family ice-stock events.
