Sorel-Tracy's 2,500-seat arena, built in 1954 and home to the LNAH's Éperviers.
The Colisée Cardin was built in 1954, and with 2,500 seats it is the largest arena in the Sorel-Tracy area. Many talented players skated here, among them Raymond Bourque. The QMJHL's Sorel Éperviers played here for many years until the team moved to Granby in 1981 and became the Granby Bisons.
The Riverains du Richelieu played here from 1982 to 1996. From 1996 the arena was home to a line of North American Hockey League teams: the Dinosaures de Sorel from 1996 to 1999, the Royaux de Sorel from 1999 to 2004 and the Mission de Sorel-Tracy from 2004 to 2008. The CGI de Sorel-Tracy arrived in 2010, became HC Carvena de Sorel-Tracy in 2011 and the Éperviers de Sorel-Tracy in 2013.
Today the Éperviers play their LNAH home games here, along with the Rebelles, the Cégep de Sorel-Tracy's college team. Minor and amateur hockey leagues and the Club de patinage artistique de Sorel-Tracy also skate on its ice.
