Zimní stadion Moravské Budějovice opened on 4 December 2005, after construction that began in April 2004 with the laying of the foundation stone. The stadium is run by ZIKOS, a contributory organisation (příspěvková organizace).
The ice measures 57 by 27 metres and the hall has room for 1,350 spectators. The season runs from September to March: the 2025-26 operation ended on 29 March 2026, and the 2026-27 season began on 15 September.
The ice is shared by the youth team of HC Žihadla, the town's amateur league, the Městská liga, and the skating school of the DDM Budík children's centre. Free slots in the ice timetable are advertised from time to time, with a phone number for anyone who wants to book one.
