A hall opened in 2008 at Ørejordet, where artificial ice has been laid since 1985
Marker & Eidsberg Sparebank Ishall stands at Ørejordet in Moss and is run by the ice hockey club Kråkene Moss, which says it operates its own ice hall for the town's residents, schools and ice sports. The hall opened on 2 February 2008. An artificially frozen rink had opened at Ørejordet on 6 December 1985 and was given a new cooling plant in 2000. The club has two halls at its disposal, this one and the Moss children's and youth hall, and a cafeteria is open when many visitors are expected and at weekends.
Kråkene call themselves the oldest ice hockey club in Østfold. They began as Moss Bandyklubb on 20 November 1950, and their first home rink, opened on 23 December 1957, was the first ice hockey rink in the county. Today the club also runs a veterans' team and para ice hockey for disabled players, and in 2010 it won an inclusion prize for its sledge hockey, having produced three national team players.
