Region of Murcia's only ice rink, opened in 2022

Hielomanía opened this permanent rink on Friday 18 November 2022, at Thader in Churra. Hielomanía is a company that specialises in ice rinks in commercial centres, and it runs the rink. The ice measures 21 by 26 metres, a total of 546 square metres, and it is natural ice; two structural columns were built into the surface.

At its opening the rink was presented as the largest in the Levante region and the only one there set to stay open all year. A gala on 26 November had Olympic ice dancer Sara Hurtado as guest of honour, with the Elche skating school. In October 2023 it was announced as the venue of the first International Ice Skating Camp, bringing competitive skaters from more than 10 countries to Murcia.

Hielomanía is the only ice rink in the Region of Murcia. Its skating school takes children and adults, and it calls learning the sport a great novelty for the region.

General admission is 10 € and the "Queremos que vuelvas" ticket is 14 €; sessions last 45 minutes from March to September and 30 minutes from October to February.
