The Novocherkassk Ice Palace belongs to the Ermak city sports centre. Its foundation was laid on 25 April 2007, as part of a national day for laying foundations of fast-built sports complexes, and the site says the palace has worked since 2009.
The rink closes for the summer and opens a new season in late August. The previous season was closed on 28 June, and the 2026-27 season opened on 21 August. Each week the site lists the skating sessions for the days ahead, and the rink itself is open every day from morning until evening.
Children under seven skate in a protective helmet with an adult. Instructor sessions of half an hour are on offer, visitors can leave belongings in a cloakroom or lockers, and a guarded car park serves the grounds.
