Eight halls under one roof; the big ice hall of 2003 replaced the 1982 Rosvallahallen as main arena
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
Nyköpings Arenor, Rosvalla is a municipal complex of eight halls under one roof, about 40,000 square metres, inaugurated in 2003. The big ice hall was built that year by Peab, was first called Peab Arena, and replaced the older Rosvallahallen, opened in 1982, as the main arena; Rosvallahallen is still in use.
The big hall's rink measures 60 by 30 metres. Its attendance record is 5,523, set on 6 April 2005 when Nyköpings Hockey met Brynäs IF in the qualifying series for the Elitserien. After Nyköpings Hockey went bankrupt in March 2014 the hall became mainly the home of Nyköpings SK's ice hockey section.
The hall has also been a television venue: the Melodifestivalen second-chance round was held here in 2007, 2012 and 2019. In autumn 2014 a new part of Rosvalla opened with three full-size sports halls.
