A 500 square metre rink in the centre of Obertrum am See with ice discos through the winter
Currently out of season The Salzburger Seenland page for the Obertrum am See rink plans the season start for 20 November 2026, weather permitting, with an opening ice disco from 17:00 to 22:00; it ends with the semester holidays, with printed hours for weekdays, weekends and the Christmas and semester holidays. The Eislaufplatz in the Schulstraße is the winter meeting place of Obertrum am See, with an ice surface of about 500 square metres for families and young people. The Salzburger Seenland tourist board plans the season start for late November, weather permitting, with an opening ice disco in the evening and a trial morning for children up to 8 years on the Saturday.
More ice discos follow in December, January and February, the rink is open on Christmas Eve until early afternoon, and the Barbaramarkt runs in late November. The season ends with the semester holidays. Weekday mornings are for school and kindergarten groups, public skating starts at 14:00 on weekdays and at 13:00 at weekends, and the rink can be rented outside the regular hours for parties and company events.
