A municipal ice rink in Olaine that turns into a multi-sport court in summer

The Olaine rink is run by the Olaine Sports Centre and works in both winter and summer seasons. In winter it is open to the municipality's residents for skating, and on weekdays pupils from the local schools use it.

Afternoons and evenings belong to hockey training for children and adults and to figure-skating interest classes, and on weekday evenings the amateur hockey tournament known as the Olaine Sports Centre Cup draws hockey enthusiasts.

The site is a fenced hockey court with changing rooms. In summer a multi-purpose surface is laid over it, so basketball, inline hockey, roller skating and floorball can be played there, and the Latvian inline hockey championship is held on it. The town's other sports facilities include a sports house, two stadiums and a swimming pool.
