Orlová's winter stadium, roofed in 1985-86

Orlová's winter stadium was created in the first half of the 1970s as an open ice surface with facilities and stands for spectators. New stands were built in the first half of the 1980s, the stadium was roofed in 1985 and 1986, and the complex was finished in 1989 when an administrative building was added.

A proposal for a necessary reconstruction was drawn up in 2001 but could not be carried out. The stadium holds 3,000 spectators.

MHK Slovan Orlová plays here. Hockey in Orlová dates from 1930, when SK Orlová played on a football pitch fenced with boards, with ice made by spraying water. The club won the second league in 2001/02, the greatest success of Orlová hockey, and merged with MSK Orlová in June 2022 under its present name. Since 2019/20 it has played in the Moravian-Silesian regional league.
