Navarra's only permanent ice rink, open since 2005
The Palacio de Hielo de Huarte has been open since November 2005 and is the only permanent ice rink in Navarra. Its season runs from September to May.
The ice has official dimensions of 56 by 26 metres, 1,456 square metres in all, with a stand of 480 seats. For sessions and courses the rink keeps more than 1,000 pairs of skates in sizes 26 to 48 and 150 helmets.
Courses are organised by age and level: Pingüino for ages 3 to 5, Husky for 6 to 8, Oso Polar for 9 to 13 and a group for adults from 14. The rink also teaches figure skating and ice hockey and offers activities for schools and groups and birthday parties.

In low season, a session on Wednesday costs 5,50 € for ages 0-6, 6,50 € for ages 7-15 and 7,50 € for ages 16 and over; on Friday, Saturday and Sunday it costs 7,50 €, 9,00 € and 11,00 €; the all-day ticket costs 8,50 €, 10,00 € and 11,50 €. A family of 2 adults and 2 children pays 32,50 €.
