Hockey, mass skating and ice shows in a 5,400 square metre sports complex in the Komi Republic
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The Siyanie Severa ice palace in Pechora, in the Komi Republic, is run by a municipal autonomous sports institution and opened on 27 December 2013. The complex covers 5,437.7 square metres in total, and its stated aim is to develop physical culture and mass sport in the Pechora district.
Hockey is at its core: there are four hockey groups for boys and youths with more than 45 children training every day, and seven adult teams play on a paid basis. The complex also has table tennis, a gym, a fitness hall and a general fitness hall.
Mass skating for Pechora residents runs to a weekly timetable, with promotions announced every week to draw more visitors, and the palace also stages concerts and ice shows. Each year it hosts the municipal championship in boccia for disabled players.
