Winter stadium from the 1970s, built without a roof; Dukla Jihlava played home games here for three seasons
The winter stadium in Pelhřimov dates from the 1970s. It was first built without a roof and received one about a decade later. It holds 2,650 spectators, most of them seated.
Until 2015 a hockey club held a long lease on the stadium, and since then the town's technical services have run it. The ice serves hockey clubs, figure skaters and individual programmes, and the operator offers skating to schools and the public. Each year the stadium's season has started in the first half of July.
In 2016 the town councillors backed building two new dressing rooms under the west stand, a plan that HC Lední Medvědi welcomed; the club then had seven teams from the youngest to adults. When Jihlava's own winter stadium was cleared from spring 2022, the players of Dukla Jihlava used the Pelhřimov stadium for their league home games for three seasons.
