A town-owned hall rebuilt in 2013-14 after the 1978 original was closed, with new changing rooms in 2020
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
Zimní stadion Poděbrady is run by Poděbradská sportovní, a company wholly owned by the town to manage its sports venues. It stands on the site of an earlier hall that was never fully finished: the original hall and machine room were built in 1978 and stood largely unchanged until 2011.
In the summer of 2011 the mayor declared that he would no longer allow the stadium to be used for safety reasons, and the old hall was pulled down that winter, leaving only the machine room and changing rooms. Construction of the new hall began in the summer of 2013 and was finished in the summer of 2014, and the first skaters took to the ice that August.
The new changing-room block was approved for use in October 2020. It has six connectable changing rooms with washrooms, facilities for referees, visitors' washrooms and an energy centre, and upstairs a warm-up room, a gym, a conference room and a lounge for parents. The move also freed space in the old building, so every youth team of HC Poděbrady now has its own changing room and the figure skating club gained room too.
