Roccaraso's ice palace, built in the 1980s under a wood-and-iron dome

The Palaghiaccio G. Bolino in Roccaraso, in the Alto Sangro ski area of Abruzzo, was built in the 1980s. It has a square plan under a raised dome of wood and iron. In winter it offers public skating on the ice, and in summer the same floor is used for roller skating and events.

Roller skating has long been part of its calendar. The Italian artistic roller-skating championships were held here in July 2006 and again in July 2007, and since 2007 the building has hosted national and international competitions every year.

A restyling of the building was marked with a ribbon-cutting in March 2025, attended by the president of the Abruzzo Regional Council. The managing association, Acd Roccaraso-Pietransieri, said the works made the building more modern and functional. The Ice Vega skating association stages its annual end-of-course show on the ice.
