A 58 by 26 metre rink for 240 spectators that hosts regional hockey tournaments
The Ice Palace in Romodanovo opened in May 2010. Its ice arena measures 58 by 26 metres and the stands are built for 240 spectators.
The hockey school trains on its ice, and so does a short track skating branch of the Olympic reserve school. Adult teams that play in the Mordovian hockey championship, Romodanovosakhar and Yaktashlar, also train there, and the palace welcomes inter-district and inter-regional tournaments for children's and adult teams.
For visitors the palace has a gym, a cafe and a sauna. Public skating sessions run on a weekly grid, on a Tuesday and Friday evening and through Saturday and Sunday, and children up to the age of seven skate free when they go on the ice with a parent.
