Built by volunteers at Bučiska in 1975 after years of rinks on volleyball courts; home of HC Rožnov Černí vlci
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Zimní stadion Rožnov pod Radhoštěm…
Hockey was first played in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in 1933/34 on a rink re-made each year on the tennis courts in the town park. From 1967-68 to 1974 the rink was set up every winter on the volleyball courts by the Videčská primary school. The stadium with artificial ice at Bučiska was built in 1975 by hockey supporters who worked thousands of volunteer hours, and trial operation started on 1 January 1976, with a clay layer under the ice.
In 1990 the surface and cooling system were rebuilt: the old coolant pipework was replaced and the clay became a concrete slab with thermal insulation underneath, plus new boards. The stadium was roofed and rebuilt in 2006-07, and in 2015 it got completely new cooling, new boards and new players' benches.
A skating school opened here in 1985, among the first in the country. Since July 2022 the stadium has been run by Sportoviště Rožnov s.r.o., and the ice is used mostly by the local hockey club, which has been called HC Rožnov p. R. Černí Vlci since 2024.
