The Olimpiysky Palace of Sports in Ryazan is built around two arenas. The main arena is described as the largest venue for events in the region, with stands for about 3,000 spectators, and it hosts matches of the Russian VHL championship and the national youth hockey league.
The same ice stages figure skating competitions of various levels, concerts, ice shows and conferences. The training arena is the main practice rink for the pupils of the Ryazan-VDV hockey school, and it holds Night Hockey League matches.
Public skating is offered as health-skating sessions of 45 minutes, announced a few days at a time, and the palace also runs ice discos of an hour and a half. Tickets are sold at the palace box office on the day of skating.
