A winter rink inside Sarajevo's Skenderija hall

Zimska čarolija, the winter event of Centar Skenderija in Sarajevo, installs an ice rink of 1,800 square metres in the Mirza Delibašić hall. The centre calls it a traditional event that brings joy, entertainment and a winter atmosphere to the middle of the city, and its director described the 2025/26 programme as running for more than a month.

The 2025/26 edition opened on 30 December with the rink open from 13:00, a free skating slot for citizens in the evening and an opening hockey game between HK Vukovi Stari Grad and HK Medvjedi Sarajevo. The head of the Sarajevo Canton government recalled that the event drew 70,000 visitors the year before and hoped for more.

The hall itself is Sarajevo's big indoor arena, commonly known as Skenderija Hall. It seats 5,616, is the home of the KK Bosna basketball team and is named after its player Mirza Delibašić, and it hosted preliminary rounds of the 1970 FIBA World Championship. The centre's calendar lists the Zimska čarolija from mid-December to the end of February.
