The flagship of a network of seven ice arenas across the republic
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The Ice Palace on Krasnaya Street in Saransk opened on 19 October 2007 after a two-year build and is run by the Republic of Mordovia's state autonomous institution of the same name. The complex covers more than 13,000 square metres, with two ice arenas, three dance halls, a gym, a press centre, a cafe and a fitness centre, and the main arena's stands hold about 3,000 spectators.
Youth schools for ice hockey, figure skating and short track train more than 900 children here. The palace has staged a Russia Cup figure-skating final (2015), the ISU Challenger Series event Mordovian Ornament (2015) and the 2011 international forum Russia, a Sporting Power. Today the institution unites seven ice arenas across the republic.
Public skating is sold by the session, which lasts one hour, and the posted week runs from Friday evening to Sunday evening.
