Sieradz's covered ice rink on Mickiewicza Street, which turns into a roller rink each spring

Lodowisko Sirka stands at Mickiewicza 6 in Sieradz, which its own page calls the sporting heart of the region, and it describes itself as the only rink of its kind in Łódź Voivodeship. In winter the covered ice is the main attraction; in spring the hall becomes a roller rink. The operator, Horti P.P.H s.c., lists a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, with a total value of 404,534.70 PLN and 279,556.50 PLN in funding.

The ice is resurfaced with a break every hour to keep the sheet in good condition. After 18:00 the rink switches on disco lighting for night skating, and a fireplace room serves hot chocolate to warm up. A virtual-reality salon is on site, and in summer visitors can use the Beach Bar and garden.

Figure-skating lessons are led by Oliwia Bulzacka, a trainer with almost ten years of experience and a long-time competitor of the Axel club in Wrocław.
