Skövde IK's home hall since 1984
Billingehov was built in 1983-84 and inaugurated in August 1984. It stands in the middle of the Lillegården sports area, among football pitches, a baseball field and a tennis hall. The hall holds 3,400 spectators, of whom 1,117 can sit.
Besides ice hockey, the hall is used for handball, figure skating, concerts and fairs. IFK Skövde played many of its bigger handball matches here before Arena Skövde was built.
Skövde IK, a hockey club formed on 7 November 1957 because Skövde AIK and IFK Skövde both struggled to pay for ice hockey, made Billingehov its home rink. The club reached the second tier in 1967/68, spent one season in Allsvenskan in 2004/05 and has otherwise played in Division 1, now Hockeyettan, since 1999.
