The ice palace of the Smolensk State University of Sport, open for the 2026-27 season
The Smolensk Ice Palace belongs to the Smolensk State University of Sport, formerly the Smolensk State Academy of Physical Culture and Sport, and its entrance on Gagarina Street faces the regional hospital. Its page says the season from autumn 2026 to spring 2027 is open.
Mass skating is sold by the hour in evening sessions that the page marks with colours: red sessions for students, yellow for school pupils and green sessions with free skates for everyone. The box office opens thirty minutes before the first session, and tickets can be bought for any session of the current day.
Skates are lent against a deposit, sharpening is offered, and pensioners, large families and participants of the military operation get a discount.
