Lyodinka at Sirius: a hockey training arena that opens its ice to public skating sessions
Lyodinka stands in the Sirius federal territory near Sochi. An information site about the Olympic Park describes it as a hockey training ice arena that became a centre for skating, and tickets are sold at the arena's own box office.
The official Sirius sports channel posts the public-skating timetable week by week as an image, and the arena adds that the timetable may change. Tickets can still be bought at the box office, but the number sold for each session is limited and the page advises buying ahead. An online ticket can be returned through the link in the e-mail that comes with it, though not later than three days before the event.
Skates come in sizes 25 to 48, and a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads are issued for an additional payment. The rink ticket and the borrowed equipment are sold separately, and the Talent and Success Foundation's price list sets concession rates for several categories of visitor.
