A 30 by 60 m hall built in 2007 at St. Pölten's sports centre, open to the public in school holidays.
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The Eissporthalle was built in 2007 on the grounds of today's SPORTZENTRUM Niederösterreich, which opened in 1990 as the NÖ Landessportschule and was the first building project completed in St. Pölten after it became the provincial capital. Ice hockey, figure skating and ice sledge hockey players train in the hall.
The ice measures 30 by 60 metres inside fully glazed boards, and the stand holds up to 500 spectators. Ten changing and drying rooms serve the athletes, and the international competition equipment, including a sound system, lets the hall host tournaments and competitions of all kinds.
Beyond training, the hall opens to the general public for Publikumseislauf and to schools for school skating. The whole centre reopened in May 2018 after a 20-month renovation, and the same year the Austrian Olympic Committee (ÖOC) certified it as an Olympic centre.
