Studénka's winter stadium, approved in 1999, closed almost two years from 2019 over a damaged roof
The winter stadium in Studénka was built over many years, in stages, and its last alterations were made in 1999, when it was approved as a sports complex. It stands in the centre of the town between a Tesco shop and the football stadium, and its capacity is given as 3,300 spectators. Today it serves the general public and the local hockey club.
In 2019 the stadium closed for almost two years because of a damaged roof, and the Studénka players had to travel to neighbouring towns to play their home matches. In that time the team surprised everyone and won the regional hockey league, but turned down promotion to the second league.
The operator holds public skating there every Saturday and Sunday from 14:30, usually for 75 minutes. The nearest bus stop is Studénka – Butovice Budovatelská.
