A 60 by 30 m indoor rink at Tresta Shiroyama in Miki, open each October to mid-April
The ice arena at the Yashimanada hot-spring resort Tresta Shiroyama, in Miki in Kagawa, is described by the resort as the only indoor rink of international standard in Shikoku. The sheet measures 60 by 30 metres, and the arena is also used for ice hockey and figure skating matches.
The season opens in early October and runs to mid-April. The rink closes on Tuesdays, except on public holidays, over the winter holidays from 25 December to 6 January and over the spring holidays from 25 March to 6 April, when it is open.
Skating lessons are held regularly, and helmets are lent for free to anyone who wants one, in limited numbers. Gloves are compulsory on the ice, nobody may step onto it in anything but skates, and the rink has no sledges or other skating aids to lend.
