Opened 11 October 1984, voted on three times by the town's citizens, and home of two hockey clubs.
The Eissport- und Tenniscentrum in Timmendorfer Strand had its foundation stone laid on 22 December 1982 by the Maritim company, which ran it until 1986, and opened on 11 October 1984. In March 1994 the ETC men's team finished runner-up in the first league and qualified for the newly founded Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
The hall has been put to a public vote three times: in November 2004 on keeping it beyond May 2005, in February 2017 on its further preservation, and in May 2019 on refurbishing it as an ice and tennis hall. Since April 2016 the Kurbetrieb Timmendorfer Strand - Niendorf/O. has run it, and it marked its 30th anniversary in October 2014.
Today the ice hockey clubs Club für Eissport in Timmendorf (C.E.T.) and Timmendorfer Eissportverein (TESV), both founded in 2018, play here, and the Saturday Night on Ice disco fills the ice with light effects and music.
