Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Arena Lodowa Tomaszów Mazowiecki…
The Arena Lodowa is the first covered speed skating track in Poland. The investment began on the initiative of the city's mayor Marcin Witko and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism; the tender was announced in March 2016, and in September the foundation stone was laid in the presence of President Andrzej Duda.
The hall has a volume of 292,000 cubic metres and a steel roof that weighs 850 tonnes. It opened in December 2017, and at the opening the mayor said that from that day Tomaszów Mazowiecki could be called the capital of Polish skating. In later years a climbing wall, a go-kart track and a hyperbaric chamber were added.
Tomaszów has long been tied to speed skating and raised many titled athletes, among them Stanisława Wąchała, Wiesław Kmiecik, Jaromir Radke and Paweł Abratkiewicz. The 2026/2027 calendar includes the season-opening meet on 10 and 11 October and the Polish distance championships on 22 to 25 October.
